There are two ways to earn those wonderful 10% off day cards. So what is the difference you ask? Lemme lead you to the info so you aren’t confused…..

There is a chart on this page that compares and covers all of the benefits that you get for opening a Target Visa Credit Card, a Target Credit cart or  a Target Check Card. You may also apply for one of these cards on this same page.

In a nutshell….
Target Visa is a Target branded card that can be used anywhere — not just Target. However, you only earn Target points for purchases made at Target. You will receive a 10% off card in the mail good for one day of shopping (after $1000 in purchases).

The Target Credit card is useable only at Target. Unlike Target, you have no liability protection for unauthorized charges.

Target Check Card  is directly connected to your bank account and is just another debit card for your bank account. The advantage is that when you use it at Target (only works at Target) you will accrue points towards 10% off day once you have spent $1000. You’ll have to be cautious if you go this route you’ll have to remember that this is going to deduct funds from your checking account just as your bank issued debit card does.
