Well thank you. I went to Target last night but my back was killing me. I got the deals I needed and didn’t get to do any research. I just wanted to go home. I’ll be waiting to see if anything decent pops! So far your findings have matched mine.
Because you can use one coupons for each item whether it is free or not. The store gets reimbursed for every coupon plus 8c handling fee. This has always worked for me but I do have a VERY good store who had trained their employees on coupons. Rule of thumb with coupons – you can use one per item without regard to the wording. Stack when you can to get greater savings. This is a legitimate deal. As always, YMMV because any manager at any store has the right to refuse a coupon or even the sale of an item.
So this is how this deal breaks down:
Purchase 4 = $7.96
Credit for the free one – $1.99
Use 4 – $1.00 coupons – $4.00
Save = $5.99
$7.96 – $5.99 = $1.97
$1.97 divided by 4 = $.49 for ea of the 4 boxes you take home
I don’t understand the Pillsbury Toaster Struedels, Buy 3 get 1 free? How is that when you are buying 4 at $1.99 each and four $1 off coupons?
I’m going tomorrow for all of this. I didn’t do a Target list this week. Thanks my friend!! I’ll let you know what the west coast stores have.
