We had to opportunity to get the carpet laid today and tomorrow. We elected to go ahead with those plans. I am positive that this will greatly effect what I can accomplish for the blog. I jumped out of bed and emptied all the small things in our bedroom this morning. As they complete the first bedroom, I can dump out the last bedroom (we are doing 3) and get all the small stuff out of the way in there.
I am anticipating an abbreviation of all of my posts and some of them being posted late tonight. You know I will do my best but you will see what it would look like if I slacked off this weekend.
We have 3 rooms basically emptied out with only the large pieces of furniture left. This means the rest of the house looks like rubble from a hurricane was delivered and dumped in the entire rest of the house. This IS worse than moving. At least when you move, you box things up and stack them. Not with this. I am lucky there is a path to the bathroom and the kitchen to the coffee pot.
I have about 2 seconds before the carpet folks get here. I am excited. I have waited SO LONG to see this happen. This is like 10 birthdays and Christmas wishes coming true all at the same time. It will be so clean, so crisp and in MY taste and colors FINALLY.
